We design what we build.

Nine people. Four projects a year. Everything you see below was designed and built by the same room, and the people who pitched it are the people who made it.

Selected work

Three we are allowed to name, with the figure the client measured rather than the one we would like to quote.

  • Harbour Bank

A current account somebody can open in one sitting

Eleven screens became four. The change that mattered was not design at all — it was persuading compliance that two of the questions could be asked later.

  • Fieldmark

A name, and the reason for it

Six months of interviews across three countries, and a repositioning that moved them out of a price war they were losing and into one they were not in.

2.4× average deal size, 18 months

  • Ostara

The product surface, rebuilt in the open

Rewritten screen by screen with their own engineers in the room, so the handover was finished before the project was. Nothing was thrown away at the end.

Three things, done properly

We are not a full-service agency and have never pretended to be one.

  1. Positioning

Three weeks of interviews with your customers, not your board. It ends with one sentence and the evidence behind it, and the sentence usually surprises somebody.

  2. Identity

A name where one is needed, a typeface, a palette, and the rules for using them written so a marketing hire in two years can follow them without calling us.

  3. The build

Site, product surface, or both, built by the people who designed it. Handed over as running code with the reasoning documented beside it.

The nine

Four of us here answer the phone. All nine work on the projects.

  • Ida Lindqvist

    Positioning

Eleven years in research before this. Runs the interviews and writes the sentence.

  • Petter Aune

    Identity

Type first, everything else after. Draws the rules as well as the marks.

  • Selma Reinert

    Product

Designs in the browser, which is why the builds look like the designs.

  • Nour Haddad

    Engineering

Ships it, documents it, and stays on the call after handover.

Tell us what is not working

One paragraph is enough. What the business does, what is stuck, and roughly what the budget looks like — the last one saves us both a fortnight of finding out we are far apart. We reply within a day, and the reply is from whoever would run the work rather than from someone whose job is to book a call.
