Our heritage
The house was founded in 1924 and the rolling mill in the Paris workshop is three years older than that. Every piece we sell starts as a bar of recycled gold and passes through it, some of them twenty times. We buy stones as stones, not as parcels, and we say where each one came from — including the cases where the trade cannot tell us, because those exist and pretending otherwise is how the word "ethical" stopped meaning anything.
Inside the atelierA photograph, a drawing, a piece you are replacing. Start with what matters to you; follow the work from the first conversation to the bench.
An hour at the bench with a designer. Bring a photograph, a drawing, or the piece you are replacing.
A drawing you approve, and a selection of stones to look at under a lamp before any of them is bought.
Six to eight weeks at the bench, photographed as it goes, and finished by the person who started it.
Signature series
Heraldry read at arm's length. Your initials cut into gold by one engraver, with a graver rather than a machine, so the line has a beginning and an end and a depth that changes along it. We keep the die afterwards. If you lose the piece, or want a second for somebody else, the new one matches the old rather than approximating it.

Stones
Every certificate we can show you, every step we cannot, and why the second list is shorter than it used to be.
The House
A second workshop, chosen for its windows, and what changes when the bench moves closer to the customer.

New collections before they are listed, invitations to the workshop, and one letter a season about what is on the bench. Nothing else, and nothing sold on.
