“Ethically sourced” is not a regulated phrase. Anybody can print it. Here is what we can actually document.
What we can show you
For every diamond over half a carat: the parcel it came from, the dealer, the date, and the Kimberley documentation. For coloured stones: the mine or the auction, and the treatment report.
What we cannot
We cannot document a stone back to the individual pit for most Colombian emeralds, because the trade does not work that way and anyone claiming otherwise is guessing. We say so on the page rather than in the small print.
Recycled gold
All of it, since 2019. This is easier than it sounds — gold has always been recycled, because it is gold — and we would rather explain that than imply we solved something difficult.
