Schematics and board-view files are published on the day a model ships, not when it is discontinued. Any repair shop can work on this, not only ours.
The keyboard, the trackpad, the screen, the hinge and the ports are individually replaceable, and every one of them is in the parts shop at a price we publish.
It is not the thinnest laptop at this price. Ten screws and a socketed battery cost about two millimetres, and we think that is a good trade.
